I was here with a group, and we had the back room all to ourselves. The food was delicious. The fresh catch (sea bass) with seasonal vegetables was some of the best fish I've had. The butter sauce it came with was so good, I literally drank what was left in the bowl, as did one of my dinner companions.

Had an absolute fantastic time with my mom, who is visiting, at Hank’s. Excellent service from Orlando and the team, very relaxing vibe, absolutely loved it. It was perfect. Also yes, the oysters are incredible and happy hour is a great deal. Highly recommend. (We were trying to set a new record, and did. Our record is now 100… legit).

We booked the rooftop at Hank's for our engagement party sight unseen (we live in the UK) and we were blown away by how wonderfully the Hank's team put together an amazing party for us. Penelope and Ron were incredible at getting us organised, customising our menus, and getting the set up just right. On the day / evening of the event, the team (especially Leigh at the bar and Ron and the entire waitstaff team) couldn't have been more helpful - going above and beyond to assist with special touches and personalised service. We were so happy to share a taste of the Chesapeake area with our friends and family from the UK and across the country. The barbecued oysters, mini crabcakes, and hushpuppies, and seafood-topped devilled eggs were especially delicious and unique. We can't wait to return again the next time we are back in Virginia! We have been going here consistently for at least a decade and by far has the best offerings for oysters at reasonable prices. Service has always been good and other seafood options vast. On this visit we opted for the deviled eggs topped with bits of lobster and lobster bisque for appetizers. We had the fry platter with portions for 4-6 people consisting of scallops, oysters, hush puppies, fries, shrimp, and haddock. As we were quite full, we ordered chocolate mousse to take home. Everything was sublime.

While attending a conference in town, I luckily stumbled upon this neighborhood restaurant. Luckily I found free parking on the street but I quickly realized this was pure luck. It is situated across from the Sheraton and if you are staying in a nearby hotel, I suggest you walk. If you decide to drive, however, there is a parking garage located directly across the street. I arrived for lunch and was seated immediately. The staff was extremely friendly and provided several menus because it was also Restaraunt Week. They serve Gold Fish as a little snack which is too cute! I had the Fried Oysters and Clam Chowder. The Chowder was a little thin but hearty and the flavor was delicious. I ordered a second Chowder to go. I would’ve ordered the Oysters to go as well but feared they may become soggy during travel. The portions were much larger than expected. I was definitely full when I left. I look forward to trying another location.

Really love dining at Hank's! It's good for a casual lunch, drinks, or a nice dinner, making it a great place to take guests staying from out of town. The oysters are top notch - always fresh and a good selection, and I highly recommend getting a martini to wash them down. The bartenders make great drinks!! Their small plates are truly amazing and actually not that small, so they're great for sharing with friends. Can recommend the lobster bisque, crab cake, the popcorn shrimp and calamari combo, and the old bay fries. The rooftop terrace has a great vibe and I have always found the staff here to be really friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommend!

Amazing! Finally we got to try Hank’s and they didn’t disappoint. Love their calamari, pasta was really delicious. Their choices of oyster make the place special. The second floor is super quiet and can have a nice conversation.
